o58. this is not an art post.
This is, instead, a post full of silly recaps, drama and mishaps that have happened at Marriland Oekaki.

Anyway, today was actually kind of fun. On Marriland Oekaki, we got to yell and mock an idiot art theif who stole two of Imura's amazing artworks and took one of mine, erased the lineart and wrote something like "you guys suck or something". He also said that we look like 'nasty things' (namely 'penis' and 'fuck fingher' [sic]). Now, sad thing about trying to steal art on this site is that, when pictures are set to public and are edited by another person, it automatically credits the original artist. So, duh, of course everyone's going to know when you're stealing someone's work. He blamed his thieving on someone he called 'Brandon' and said Brandon was his little brother. We continued calling him a liar and said all sorts of stuff to get him to delete his posts. Pokedive (the idiot I've been talking about) continued to cry for help and called us all rude and came up with all sorts of lies and excuses. Then, Marriland actually showed up and deleted the stolen art (plus some related BAWWWWing).Wow, he exists. He also sent the person an o-mail, but it looks like he still has his draw access intact and all that when I checked out the person's profile on the memberlist. (WTF? Where's the BANHAMMER?)
The idiot, of course, came back later on under the name of 'Pom' for spamming and stole another piece of Imura's art from the main board (under the alias 'Iskola75'). He said that he was the same person from before (though, I could tell just by the e-mail address), but then later said something like 'you've never seen me before'. He also denied ever blaming a 'Brandon' or knowing one, something like that.
There are 6 accounts signed up with '_lguitarplayer@hotmail.com' at MO. Someone needs to start monitoring who the heck they're letting into the oekaki—there's a 'no more than one account per person' rule on MO, but obviously, someone's not paying attention to who they're accepting. Get someone who cares to watch over the oekaki and won't die off like our last modand yourself, Marriland. Geez. I take my position of an admin at Lawlsuit rather seriously. Probably too much, though, 'cause I came up with so many things that annoyed me that I had poor Iya turn into rules. xD;;; I'm sorry, sweetie.
So yeah, it was rather fun, picking on an idiot who just wouldn't learn his lesson—yes, I am that mean. I'm normally forgiving, but somethings are just plain old unforgivable in my book, and if you're just going to repeat your mistakes over and over, never changing your method of doing things, never trying to gain respect the right way, I will be mean, and I will pick on you. Some people are really hardheaded and need it to be drilled into their heads that they're doing it wrong.

GOD I wish I could just stop going to that board so I could save myself from getting so frustrated about seeing so much stupid and not being able to really do a thing about it. That, and it's ruining my perceptions of children. When I'm thinking of this commercial repeatedly when I see these kids... All they do is whine that they're not getting better at drawing (they only draw over 9000 two minute drawings, what the hell do they expect!? that's not practice!) or think they're a lot better than they think they are. They ask for critiques, and sometimes, when they get them, they have hissy-fits over them. And when they're pointed out for being brats, they whine and yell some more, cry for help. And then some idiots defend the wrong people—you don't defend an art thief. You don't defend idiot spammers. You don't defend someone who is clearly being an ass and making an ass of themselves. Defend people who deserve to be helped. Act maturely.
"oh yaw, ya peepz. yall wanna peice of mah? ya doo?!!! huhhh~!?? justleaf dmg alone yyou damn fucking peoplezzzzz~~~~~~~ rawwwarawwww!~~~~!!!"
... How am I supposed to take someone like that seriously? Most nine-year-olds I know:
1. don't use the f-word.
2. can spell better than that.
3. know that "leaf" and "leave" are not the same thing.
4. have gotten past the pretending "RRRWAAAAAARR" dinosaur stage.

[EDIT 03/03/08]: According to Iskola75, pokedive was his sister and was on his account when the art in question was stolen... which would make him Brandon, I guess?
Anyway, Iskola75 doesn't really seem to be a bad kid now, just one that needs to mature a little and work on his art, like a lot of the younguns on MO.

o57. down the concentration gradient.
Good god, I leave MO for a few hours after starting a piece and the next thing I know, it's next to last on the bottom on the first page within four hours of my latest check. What the heck is up with that? I ended up deleting this because I hate when my stuff is bumped down that low without even getting to finish it. Keh. Maybe I'll try finishing it on LO.42m 55s on the timer.
We have our first lab practical exam for Bio 1 on Wednesday, and man. There is just so much to do for these classes! It's kind of amazing that there's just that much so quickly. The work never ends, seriously. I have to do another summary for an article and another abstract. And I really need to start keeping my poor Zoology lab notebook up to date, since they're due in, like, two weeks or something like that, along with the lecture exam. There's also an upcoming Calc exam, and truth be told, I don't know a darn thing about Calculus at this point. It's so sad. I don't understand anything the teacher's really doing, it's just a bunch of examples... and when we ask questions, more examples... Eh...
This sucks. I ruined Minato again.

o56. i keep forgetting to update lol.
Lawlsuit > Marriland any day. MO is getting worse and worse with everyday. It's terrible! It's horrible! And yet, I can't seem to leave the place...Yelling at spammers and trolls is, for some reason, fun. It's like being able to release pent-up anger or something... It's kind of pathetic, though, isn't it? But I can't help but be such a loser. The lulz are much more amusing than writing abstracts for Bio 1.
That said, KibaShika is still love. Delish. Have many, many YK fics that I need to catch up on, though. I'm, like, three months behind. ;____; Not cool! That's so much!
... School sucks, gah. There is nothing that doesn't suck right now. Except maybe LO, but that's it. And oh my GOD why is Y!gallery so freakishly slow? It disturbs me. And I tried to upload some pics today, which they did go through... but they DOUBLE-POSTED without me even double-clicking the 'submit' button or refreshing. WHAT. THIS IS MADNESS.

I've been saying "people are idiots" for the longest time, but seriously? I hate being so right for always saying it.So yeah, Drifloon-tan, effort piece vs. doodle pic, because I tried to illustrate a point, but ended up failing.
I hope that place goes back to normal. I mean, it was kind of like home for a while. LO is my new home now, but I still kinda can't get MO out of my head because I've been there for, what? Over half-a-year? That's longer than I've been in some RPs.
It's so easy to get attached, isn't it?

God, I'm such a retard. I've had this lineart done for AGES but I never got around to scanning it until... a week or two ago? And didn't get to posting it anywhere until now, obviously.
Stupid me.
